PB Brulee

A rich and nutty take an the classic creamy, brittle, caramelized dessert made with a household classic: Jif® Natural Creamy Peanut Butter.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Jif Natural Creamy Peanut Butter
  • 3/4 cup sugar, divided
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 2 cups whole milk

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 325°F. Beat peanut butter and 1/2 cup sugar in medium bowl with electric mixer on low until creamy. Mix in egg yolks, one at a time, until thoroughly combined. Add milk. Beat until smooth.
  2. Pour mixture into 8 oven-proof ramekins. Place ramekins in baking pan or casserole dish. Add 1/2 inch water to pan. Bake 40 to 45 minutes or until custard is set when shaken. Remove from oven. Chill 2 hours.
  3. Heat broiler. Sprinkle remaining sugar over tops of each custard. Place ramekins on top rack of broiler. Broil 4 to 6 minutes or until sugar bubbles and caramelizes. Serve warm or chilled.
